六氟化硫断路器采用的是自能式灭弧结构,主要是利用压气缸之内的高压热膨胀气流与碰口电弧的堵塞效应将高压气缸之中的气体压力在断路器分闸处提高。六氟化硫断路器的操作分为两种:一种是分闸操作;另外一种是合闸操作,以下是对这两种操作的介绍。

两种六氟化硫断路器有着自己的特点和操作方式,其中罐式高压六氟化硫断路器可以将隔离开关、断路器等组合在一起,组合成敞开式组合电器,这样就能够减少占地面积,同时还能减少检修的时间,这样的六氟化硫断路器非常适合新疆地区使用,因为罐式高压六氟化硫断路器对于环境的适应能力特别强,新疆地区的自然环境比较恶劣,一般的六氟化硫断路器在实际的使用中非常容易出现故障,而罐式高压六氟化硫断路器在新疆地区使用时很少发生故障,保障了新疆电力的安全。但是瓷柱式六氟化硫断路器也有一定的优点,瓷柱式六氟化硫断路器安装的过程比较简单,也能够在一定程度上节约经济成本,但是瓷柱式六氟化硫断路器的抗震性能不是很强,重心也比较低,这就会导致瓷柱式六氟化硫断路器只能在一些地区使用,所以新疆地区不会使用这种类型的六氟化硫断路器。
